The 988 FLAT is the volume version of the 988, moving 28 litres on a 20-inch footprint; a comparison of the range recorded by the company puts it first among the 20-inch models on value for money. It measures 35 x 23 x 53 cm -- marginally narrower than the other 20-inch models -- and weighs 7.0 kg empty, so it remains one of the two lightest units we build. The footrest is the pop-out type, the arrangement the specification records for this model. Five colourways are listed for the model: silver, carbon-fibre black, pink, black and light grey. Carton 62 x 42.5 x 26.5 cm at 8.6 kg gross, with about 405 units per 20GP. Custom branding from 300 units; TSA lock upgrade optional.

The 988 is the lightest ride-on suitcase in this catalogue at 6.9 kg empty, and it carries 25 litres. Weight is what the model is built around: its carton is also the lightest at 8.4 kg gross, and on a container of several hundred units that is the arithmetic a buyer runs when freight rather than finish decides the margin. It is a 20-inch case at 36 x 24 x 53 cm with a zipper closure and a maximum load of 110 kg. The lower shell weight comes from the case construction, not from a smaller battery: the 96.2 Wh detachable pack and the 200 W motor are the same units used across the range. Its specification set carries no footrest entry, so a quotation is built on the case, the capacity and the drive figures. Three colourways are listed for the model: pink, silver and black. Cartons measure 62 x 42.5 x 26.5 cm at 8.4 kg gross. Custom branding from 300 units, standard orders from 10 units with mixed models allowed, and TSA locks available as a paid upgrade.

The 968 FLAT takes the 24-inch chassis and adds a pop-out footrest, the arrangement the specification records for it. Interior volume is the largest in the range at 42 litres, and a comparison recorded by the company puts the model ahead of the range on size and interior space. The footprint and empty weight match the standard 968 at 47 x 24 x 53 cm and 7.9 kg, so the difference between the two is the footrest mechanism, the interior volume and the colourways -- black, pink and silver on this model. Maximum load is 110 kg and the unit runs the shared 96.2 Wh detachable battery and 200 W motor. Carton 54 x 29 x 65 cm at 9.6 kg gross, roughly 280 units per 20GP. Custom branding from 300 units, standard orders from 10 units, TSA upgrade optional.
